Our Access Guide provides detailed information about the experience to allow you to make an informed decision about whether it is right for you. If you have any questions before your visit, feel free to reach out and contact Fever.

CONTENT WARNINGS

  • Content: The War of The Worlds: The Immersive Experience contains themes of martians, swearing, religion, violence and death.
  • Children's Admission: Children under 16 years old must have parent/guardian consent through the waiver before admission, and they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18yrs or over at all times. If a child chooses to leave the experience for any reason, they must be accompanied by an adult.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • Experience Effects: Our experience includes various effects, including virtual reality, motion simulators, uneven surfaces, confined spaces, air blasts, latex, loud noises, live actors, fog, water spray, scent and temperature changes so please consider any health conditions or medical concerns before participating.
  • Age Restrictions: The recommended minimum age to take part in the experience is 10 years old. Children under 16 years old need parental or guardian consent through the waiver before admission, and they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18yrs or over at all times. If a child chooses to leave the experience for any reason, they must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Health Considerations: If you have any health conditions that may be aggravated by the experience, please take those into account before booking. We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate, so if this is required, please obtain specialist advice from a medical professional before participating.
  • Suitability: This experience is not suitable for sufferers of: high blood pressure, heart conditions, Epilepsy, back/neck conditions, breathing or respiratory conditions, nervous conditions or blindness.
  • Mobility: This experience is not wheelchair accessible. The motion simulators may make the experience unsuitable for individuals with missing or artificial limbs, those wearing casts or individuals with certain body shapes or sizes.
  • Temporary Effects: While it is rare, some individuals may experience temporary effects during or after the performance, such as dizziness, loss of balance, headache, muscle discomfort, or sensations resembling those of air jets, fog effects, or scents. Please rest assured that these effects are generally rare and temporary.
  • Fears: This experience is not suitable for those with extreme fears of heights (acrophobia), confined spaces (claustrophobia) or the dark (nyctophobia).
  • Slide: Whilst using the slide guests must adhere to the following rules:
    • One person at a time on the slide.
    • Follow the instructional images displayed at the top of the slide.
    • One person at a time on the slide.
    • Make sure mobile phones are secure in your pockets.
    • Do not carry items with you on the slide.
    • Wait until you are given the signal to go.
    • Use the elasticated foot sacks provided to hold your feet inside.
    • Do not attempt to hold the sack with your hands.
    • Slide, seated, feet first with arms crossed, laying on your back.
    • Do not attempt to stop half way down.
    • Inform us if you wish to take an alternative route.

Use of the slide is optional and guests have the choice to take the staircase instead. The Company takes all steps necessary to make it as safe as possible but it is impossible to eliminate all risk due to the nature of the activity.

  • Virtual Reality: Whilst using the VR equipment, please let our team members know if you have any problems or discomfort. The equipment will shut down in case of a fire alarm for safety
  • Glasses: If you normally wear glasses it is recommended you wear them for this experience or use contact lenses. The VR headsets are fully adjustable to accommodate glasses.
  • Hearing Aids: If you wear hearing aids, please let our team know and they will assist you with positioning the VR headsets.
  • Accessibility Questions: If you have any questions before your visit, feel free to reach out and contact Fever.. If you have any concerns during the experience, please speak to a member of our team so they can help you or suggest alternative options.

If you require assistance throughout the experience, you can apply for a free pass for your Personal Assistant/Support Worker. Please contact Fever with proof of needing a carer ticket. Once this is received, they will then provide you with the code of a voucher, that you can use to purchase your free Carer ticket. Please keep in mind that you will be required to show this, along with your tickets, to enter the venue. Each Carer ticket will need to be purchased with at least one other full price ticket.

Here are a few of the documents Fever accept:

  • Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility.
  • Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
  • Evidence of being severely sight impaired.
  • CredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement.
  • A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card.
